Went off-roading and yachting in GTA Online last night.

I was checking to see if R* had enabled the snow last night (it wasn’t there at the time) and jumping between lobbies for hacker money (grabbed $60k that rained down) when I ran into lonestranger. Shenanigans ensued.

lonestranger and I did some Freemode Events and checked out each other’s garages. He noted that our Armored Kurumas have similar paint jobs; I particularly like his VIP-style Intruder.

lonestranger and I went off-roading on Mt. Chiliad and Mt. Gordo with a few randos - one guy had a Dubsta 6x6 like mine, but he decided to switch to a Liberator instead. Another one had a Rusty Rebel. The randos got held back a few times, mostly because the guy with the Liberator wouldn’t go slow LOL.

From there, we took a guy’s jet to the south side of the map and parachuted down onto his yacht. I was mostly indifferent to the yachts before, but I’ve come to want one a bit more after seeing how nice this one was. We did get hassled shortly after getting onto the yacht, but we dealt with the griefers and they mostly just talked shit in the chat after that.

Finally, we checked out (one of?) lonestranger’s stilt house - the waterfall is just nuts.

After we called it a night, I went to the Los Santos Customs near Tinsel Towers to upgrade the brakes on my Dubsta 6x6... and found the Christmas tree and propeller thingy in the lede pic, which I’m pretty were modded into the session by somebody. I couldn’t get into the LSC there because of the propeller, so I went to the southernmost LSC and had the brakes done there.

That was the most fun I’ve had in a while, and the longest session in months without being griefed and/or hacked.

I never thought to take any pics or Gallery Captures, and the only ShadowPlay captures I took were boring.

Yeah, I took opportunities when we weren’t driving around (i.e. when we were chilling on the mountains and when you had to step away for a moment) to take photos. I should probably have taken some clips to get shots from the R* Editor.
